Post 16 Department
Key Stage 5 consists of Year 13, 14 & 15. During this final stage we endeavor to create an individual pathway for each young person, which focuses on their talents and interests.
We aim to give each young person an opportunity to learn and achieve success across a variety of contexts. The vision is to prepare each young person for the wider world and gain in independence, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
Ultimately, we want to ensure each young person is proud of who they are and know that they are valued.
Qualifications
*CCEA Entry Level Qualifications- English, Maths and Life Skills
*Young person can achieve Level 1, 2 or 3 or individual units.
*OCN Qualification in Vocational Studies, provided by AEL.
*Orchardville - OCN Level 1 Effective Communication in the Workplace.
Duke Of Edinburgh
Through a DofE programme young people have fun, make friends, improve their self-esteem and build confidence. They gain essential skills and attributes for work and life such as resilience, problem-solving, team-working, communication and drive, enhancing CVs and job applications.

Young Enterprise programme
Young Enterprise helps young people develop the life skills, knowledge & confidence they need to succeed in the changing world of work.
The young people get an opportunity to create their own business, give it a name, design a logo and carry out market research.
