Religious Education

In Harberton School each child is embraced as part of a caring community, where children of all creeds, cultures and denominations are welcome.  The children participate in a weekly assembly, where individual classes use drama and music to demonstrate how we can care for and share with each other.  Contributions from groups such as Go-Kidz, Youth for Christ and the local clergy are enjoyed by both pupils and staff.

Preparation for First Penance and First Communion is provided in Year 4, culminating in the Sacrament of First Communion in a local church.  Year 7 children are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation.  The whole school celebrates these important achievements alongside the children and their parents/guardians.
